PURPOSE – It will enable members to view local birds in detail without having to leave even ground. Great for our less able members.
We provide instruction and practice on using the telescope/binoculars and make sure everyone gets to see and identify each bird. We have spare binoculars.

MEETINGS – Meetings are on the second Wednesday of every second month. ie. October, December, February, April, June, and August.

WHERE – We currently go to sites such as the Southside gardens, the Dump Lake bird lookout, Woolwash, Stanwell township, the Caves National Park. After viewing we have morning tea where we can discuss what we saw.
MORNING TEA – Currently, because of Covid you need to bring your own chair, food and drinks.
MEMBERS – All members of U3A & visitors are invited to attend.
